Dear Community
On behalf of IAB, thank you for attending the candlelight vigil held on Friday, January 23, in honor of our beloved loved ones lost during the protests in Iran. Your presence, compassion, and solidarity brought comfort and strength to so many during a painful time.
More than 100 people gathered to pay their respects, and we are deeply grateful to each of you, including Bentley College students who joined us in support of the Iranian people. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our local vendors, Super Vanak, Roksana, You Got Flowers and to the many volunteers and contributors who helped make the evening possible. In addition, we thank our local musicians and performers whose heartfelt contributions created a space of reflection and healing, and helped bring our community together in unity and remembrance.
IAB condemns the regime’s violence and stands with the Iranian people, honoring their decades-long resilience and courage in the fight for freedom, justice, and human rights. Despite the attempts made by a few individuals to intrude on the spirit of the gathering, the community remained focused on what mattered most: honoring the lives lost, supporting one another, and standing together with dignity and respect.
IAB stands united with the Iranian people and supports a free and democratic society—one in which every human being can live with the freedom and dignity they deserve. We hope others will join in this unity, set aside personal differences and opinions, and stand together for this cause.
IAB is not affiliated with any political or religious parties. For more than 34 years, IAB has operated as a nonprofit organization, sustained by the generosity of our members and the broader community. With your support, we have been able to promote our culture and history and carry it forward to the next generation.

ما در کانون ایرانیان بوستون از حضور شما در مراسم یادبود روز جمعه ۲۳ ژانویه که به یاد جان باختگان اعتراضات اخیر ایران برگزار شد، صمیمانه سپاسگزاریم. حضور و همدلی شما در این روز برای بازماندگان مایه آرامش و قوت قلب بسیار بود.
بیش از ۱۰۰ نفر در این مراسم گرد هم آمدند تا ادای احترام کنند. ما قدردان تکتک شما هستیم؛ از جمله دانشجویان Bentley College که برای حمایت از مردم ایران در کنار ما بودند. همچنین از دهش بخشنده سوپر ونک، رکسانا، You Got Flowers و از داوطلبان و همراهانی که در برگزاری این مراسم نقش داشتند، صمیمانه قدردانی میکنیم. ما قدردان نوازندگان و هنرمندانی هستیم که با اجراهای زیبای خود فضایی برای التیام فراهم کردند.
کانون ایرانیان بوستون خشونتهای اعمالشده توسط رژیم را محکوم میکندو تمام قد در کنار مردم ایران میایستد; مردمی که طی دههها با شجاعت و پایداری برای آزادی، عدالت و حقوق اولیه مبارزه کردهاند. ناگفته نماند معدود افرادی سعی برای برهم زدن فضای این گردهمایی داشتند اما جامعه ما بر آنچه بیش از همه اهمیت داشت متمرکز ماند: گرامیداشت یاد جانباختگان , همدلی و اتحاد.
کانون ایرانیان بوستون در همبستگی کامل با مردم ایران، از جامعهای آزاد و دموکراتیک حمایت میکند. کشوری که در آن همه مطابق باورها و انتخاب های خود زندگی کنند ,نه آنچه که بر آن ها تحمیل شده است.امید داریم همه ایرانیان خارج از کشور نیز با کنار گذاشتن اختلافات و دیدگاههای شخصی، به این همبستگی بپیوندند و در راه این هدف در کنار هم بایستند. کانون ایرانیان بوستون وابسته به هیچ حزب سیاسی یا گروه مذهبی نیست. این سازمان با بیش از ۳۴ سال سابقه بهعنوان یک نهاد غیرانتفاعی با حمایت اعضا فعالیت میکند. ما تا به امروز با پشتیبانی شما عزیزان، توانستهایم فرهنگ و تاریخ خود را پاس بداریم و آن را به نسلهای آینده منتقل کنیم.
