IAB would like to provide an important update on the actions that has been taken to support the people of Iran and to help ensure their voices are heard.
As part of our continued advocacy efforts, with help of Mr. Fakharzadeh, IAB have sent a formal letter to Elizabeth Warren expressing our strong support for the Freedom Act (H.R. 6469), for expanded Internet freedom initiatives for the people of Iran. The Freedom Act represents a meaningful step toward safeguarding digital access and protecting the fundamental rights of the Iranian people.
We remain committed to advocating for policies that promote freedom, human rights, and unrestricted access to information.
