In order to help talented students with an interest in Iranian culture to achieve their aspirations, IAB grants scholarships to students who have high academic performance as well as a genuine interest in Iranian culture and society. IAB has a deep interest in each of these students’ achievements throughout the scholarship period and beyond.
The IAB Scholarship was established in 2005 by Mr. Fotouhi and Mrs. Shafai, with initial funding provided through the generous donation of Mr. Nader Darehshori, which supported Iranian students for many years. Since then, another generous anonymous donor has continued to support this cause.
The committee members have been carefully selected from diverse academic fields, with each individual serving on the committee during different years. The past members include Dr. Mohamad Mobasherat, Dr. Sadeghi, Dr. Farnaz Haghseta, Dr. Bahram Shafai, and Dr. Khaksari.
The current members of the IAB Scholarship Committee are Dr. Masoud Salehi, Dr. Ali Touran, Dr. Amir Zamani, Dr. Mehdi Zarghamee, and Dr. Jamshid Latifpour.
This report provides a summary of the IAB Scholarship Program awards from 2018 through 2025. Each year, the committee received several qualified applications. All submissions were carefully reviewed, and interviews were conducted with the top scorers.
